Commercial Heating Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Heating Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical pipework systems across commercial, industrial, and construction projects. Install, assemble, and fit pipework systems according to engineering drawings and specifications. Carry out maintenance, repairs, and fault-finding on existing pipework systems.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and isometric plans. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety regulations. Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other trades on site. Conduct pressure testing and commissioning activities where required. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Proven experience as a Commercial Heating Engineer in industrial, commercial, or construction environments.

Have excellent knowledge of commercial systems. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, materials, and installation methods. Experience working with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and plastic pipework systems. Relevant trade qualifications or apprenticeship completion preferred. Valid CSCS card desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
