Senior Accountant | Transport & Warehouse Division

Hybrid (M-TH onsite, Friday Remote) - Chesterton, IN 46304
We are hiring a Senior Accountant to support month-end close, fixed asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple business units. The role will work closely with Operations Accounting and support various finance projects.
Key Responsibilities- Handle fixed asset accounting including capitalization & depreciation
- Perform month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage intercompany reconciliations across multiple entities
- Review financial performance, variance analysis, and forecasting support
- Prepare reports and support cash management initiatives
- Assist external auditors with financial data and reporting
- Support and guide offshore accounting team members
- Work on ad hoc finance and accounting projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4–6 years of general accounting experience
- Strong experience with fixed assets and intercompany reconciliations
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables
- Experience handling multiple entities/accounts/locations
- ERP experience required, Oracle Fusion preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail
