Description:

The Supply Chain Coordinator reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager. This is an administrative position responsible for the management of general business operations within the PVS Technologies Supply Chain, as well as managing the supply chain needs of PVS Technologies customers and promoting a culture of safety. The primary duties of the Supply Chain Coordinator will require the exercise of discretion and independent judgment concerning matters of significant importance such as supporting the continuous operation of municipal water/wastewater plants and steel mills.

This position is a corporate office-based position with the ability to work hybrid on occasion. Travel may be required from time to time. The Supply Chain coordinator would need to be available after hours and weekends for urgent issues.

Responsibilities:

Daily

  • Coordination of product inventories and the movement of product from 32 distinct warehouses, encompassing multiple products shipping to 600 plus locations
  • Support coordination of rail fleet with more than 400+ railcars
  • Coordination of steel mill inventory, invoicing, and contractual obligations
  • Coordination of truckloads vital chemicals products across the US
  • HCl ordering & balancing.
  • Create and process purchase orders.
  • Update laboratory data management to ensure quality control.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

Weekly/Monthly

  • Analyze costs of product movement
  • Support plant operations as needed.
  • Liaison with various corporate groups
  • Various administrative tasks
  • Modeling, forecasting, data analysis and reports.
  • Non-conformance reporting and corrective action implementation
  • Be part of the management team assisting with safety in the organization.
  • Be part of the management team assisting with Product Analysis / Sales Analysis reports.
  • Be part of the management team assisting implementing new projects and strategies as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills Needed:

  • Fluent in Microsoft programs such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to operate in a mainframe and PC environment required.
  • Ability to have a flexible work schedule, being on call by phone 24/7
  • Ability to understand and recognize geographies and logistical shipping advantages and disadvantages.
  • 1-3 years' experience in the supply chain, customer service, transportation, or logistics field.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, suppliers, during audits and/or employee organizations. Ability to communicate effectively to management and other stakeholders.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to resolve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

This position will report to the PVS Technologies, Inc. Supply Chain Manager.
