Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually
We are seeking a highly analytical and project-driven Sourcing Manager to join our team in Portage, Indiana. This individual will play a key role in managing sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement projects from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience within the service industry and a strong background managing the full sourcing and procurement lifecycle, including developing RFPs, negotiating contracts, evaluating supplier performance and quality, and overseeing purchase orders and invoices.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead sourcing and procurement projects from initial requirements gathering through supplier selection, contract execution, and implementation.
Manage end-to-end contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, service levels, quality expectations, and supplier agreements.
Develop, issue, and evaluate Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and other competitive sourcing initiatives.
Conduct detailed supplier and cost analysis to identify opportunities for savings, efficiency improvements, and risk reduction.
Partner with internal stakeholders to establish sourcing requirements and manage project timelines and deliverables.
Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to address quality control issues, service concerns, and performance expectations.
Process and oversee purchase orders, invoices, and related procurement documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Track supplier performance, contract compliance, project milestones, and key sourcing metrics.
Manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
Identify and implement process improvements that strengthen procurement efficiency and overall supplier performance.
Minimum of 5 years of sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience within the service industry.
Demonstrated experience managing the full sourcing lifecycle and end-to-end contract negotiations.
Strong experience developing and managing RFP processes.
Experience working with supplier quality, performance management, and quality control processes.
Knowledge of purchase order and invoice processing.
Highly analytical with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, and deadlines.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fully onsite, project-driven environment.
$80,000–$90,000 annually, depending on experience.
