** Position Summary
** A Service Technician is responsible for the successful and safe execution of field work.  Field work includes, but not limited to, general labor and construction type tasks as well as working with industrial vacuuming equipment, power washing equipment, and high-pressure water blasting equipment.  This is a physically demanding position, generally taking place outdoors in the elements. It requires stamina, the ability to lift heavy loads, and maintain proper body positioning.

One should be able to concentrate on performing daily tasks and commit to safety policies and procedures.  A Service Technician reports to a Field Supervisor.
** Duties and Responsibilities
*** Attend pre-job safety meeting and provide input as required.
* Follow instructions provided by Field Supervisor and work within your crew to complete specific tasks safely and efficiently.
* Clean up worksites from hazardous or obsolete material (trash) to keep site clean and safe.
* Set up and perform operation of hot water pressure washers, high pressure pumps, dry ice machines, and any other equipment required to complete the given task.
* Hydro-Blasting, 5,000 PSI to 40,000 PSI, when applicable.
* Operation of heavy equipment or mobile equipment when qualified, (manlift, forklift, etc.)
* Operation of automated hydro-blasting equipment, (Peinemann, Safe Flex, etc.)
* Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions.## Qualifications

** OSHA 10 Certification (Refresher required annually)
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, which include but are not limited to:  + Standing for long periods of time.  + Lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds or more.  + Wear respiratory equipment and pass annual fit test.  + Good hand-eye coordination.  + General physical tasks:
Pulling, kneeling, bending.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
