Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team on the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM shift
. This leadership position is ideal for an RN who is passionate about resident care, staff development, and clinical excellence in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.

Position Summary

The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the assigned shift, ensuring quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with facility policies and state and federal regulations. The RN Supervisor serves as a clinical resource and leader for the interdisciplinary team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, GNAs, and other nursing personnel.
  • Ensure residents receive quality care in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
  • Perform clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident condition.
  • Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
  • Monitor medication administration and treatment compliance.
  • Conduct rounds throughout the facility and address resident, family, and staff concerns.
  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
  • Investigate incidents and complete required reports.
  • Assist with staffing coordination and assignment adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with CMS regulations, Maryland nursing regulations, and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, department managers, the DON, and ADON to achieve positive resident outcomes.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
Qualifications
  • Current Maryland RN License in good standing.
  • Minimum one (1) year of nursing supervisory experience preferred.
  • Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Facility, Rehabilitation, or Subacute Care experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Current CPR/BLS Certification.
