Position Summary
Resorts at Chester River Manor is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our overnight nursing team. The RN Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nursing operations during the 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM shift, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff support, and effective communication with interdisciplinary team members.
Schedule- Full-Time
- Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Rotating weekends and holidays as required
- Supervise and support Licensed Nurses and Nursing Assistants during the overnight shift.
- Ensure quality resident care is delivered in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and nursing standards.
- Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Monitor medication administration and treatment documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and resident concerns.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, CMS regulations, and Maryland nursing practice standards.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and guidance to nursing staff.
- Complete audits, shift reports, and required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the nursing leader and clinical resource during assigned shift.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility experience preferred.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
- Supervisory or Charge Nurse experience.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of CMS regulations and survey process.
