We are more than just a Parts Store and are looking for talented individuals to join our NAPA family! As a NAPA Counter Sales associate, you will be the "face of the retail store" and the go-to person for customers' automotive needs. You don’t need to be able to tear down motors (though that’s a plus) – a background in automotive parts is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist retail and wholesale customers with auto parts questions in person and over the phone.

Use your parts knowledge to support team members and answer customer inquiries.

Deliver outstanding customer service and create positive shopping experiences.

Maintain a high-energy, customer-focused approach in our fast-paced stores.

Engage customers and welcome them into our retail environment.

Operate technology systems including computers, cash registers, and catalogs.

Ideal Candidate

Enjoy helping customers with auto parts and service questions.
Have experience in automotive or have been involved in car/truck repair or tinkering.
Willing to learn automotive parts if new to the industry.
Seek growth and career development within a supportive team environment.

Requirements

Valid Driver’s License.
Experience in a parts store or automotive industry, or a willingness to learn.
High School Diploma or GED; technical or trade courses are a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Enjoys fast-paced retail environments.
Strong listening skills and empathy for customers.

Preferred Skills

Passion or background in automotive, heavy equipment, farm, diesel, marine, or dealership sectors.
Experience with cataloging or inventory systems.
Customer-centric mindset.
ASE Certifications are a plus.
