We are hiring an experienced Senior HVAC Technician to help us operate, maintain, and expand our building and energy related HVAC platform consisting of geothermal, steam, and VRF systems. Essential Functions
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems including but not limited to, gas and oil furnaces, hydronic boilers, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless systems and geothermal.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair and perform system maintenance.
  • Thoroughly document findings and present reports to management team.
  • Complete assigned service calls and maintain communication with team throughout the shift.
  • Knowledge of various refrigerant types, gases, electrical voltages.
  • Participate in continued HVAC training.
  • Ensuring code compliance and follow all safety procedures and practices.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of advanced principles of heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration.
  • Working knowledge of hydronic systems.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Goal‑oriented.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the organization.
  • Clean driving history and valid Driver's License.
  • Clean criminal background history and pre‑employment drug screen.
  • Energ­etic, positive, and self‑motivated.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Installing, maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
  • Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing systems including but not limited to water source heat pumps, geothermal systems, ductless split systems, fan coil units, and steam coils.
  • Providing technical direction and on‑the‑job training.
Education
  • High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent.
  • EPA Certified.
  • NATE Certified A+.
Experience
  • 7+ year experience as an HVAC technician, and willingness to continue education in HVAC field.
Working Conditions / Physical Demands
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in elevated spaces.
  • Ability to work in attics and tight spaces.
  • Ability to work in a multitude of weather conditions.
