7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Pay Range: $17 - $20 per hour

Are you organized, dependable, and ready to keep things moving? The Dixon Group is looking for a Material Handler
to join our Distribution Center team in
Chestertown, MD! In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring products move efficiently through our warehouse—from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. You’ll operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move inventory safely, maintain accurate records, and help keep our distribution processes running smoothly. What You’ll Do:

  • Safely receive, store, and move materials throughout the distribution center
  • Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to customer orders
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular system updates
  • Identify and use appropriate packaging materials to protect products in transit
  • Coordinate with shipping, customer service, and inventory teams to meet delivery deadlines
  • Assist with general warehouse upkeep and organization as needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification a plus)
  • Reliable, team‑oriented mindset with strong time management
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
