Controller, Accounting, Financial Compliance

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, audits, tax compliance, and cash management functions for a growing organization with both U.S. and international operations. This position serves as a key member of the finance leadership team and partners closely with the CFO to drive financial accuracy, process improvements, and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, general ledger, and financial reporting
• Manage monthly close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, and budget-to-actual analysis
• Oversee U.S. and international audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and compliance activities
• Monitor cash flow, banking relationships, and lines of credit
• Supervise and develop accounting, payroll, and accounts payable personnel
• Drive process improvements and implement effective internal controls
• Support executive leadership with financial analysis and strategic recommendations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• Experience managing accounting functions and teams
• Strong understanding of financial statements, audits, tax compliance, and accounting operations
• Experience with JAMIS, Deltek Costpoint, or comparable accounting systems
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
