Proactive & Organized Household Manager​/Family Assistant

A busy family in Chevy Chase, MD is looking to hire a Household Manager/Family Assistant for their family and two children ages 12 and 8 years old. Key responsibilities include overseeing household staff, homework supervision, running errands, and driving the kids to activities. The kids’ schedule is packed with extracurricular activities such as horseback riding, dance practice, and math tutoring, so someone organized, who is able to maintain a schedule is a must.

The ideal candidate for the role is motivated, proactive, and a great communicator. The family spends a few weeks on the beach over the summer, so someone who is able to travel is preferred.

• At least 3 years of professional Nanny or Household Manager experience
• Must be legal to work in the US
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working around pets, including light pet care (1 dog, 3 cats)
• Must be local to the DC-metro area (DC, MD, VA)
• Licensed driver with a clean driving record
• Must be Covid-vaccinated
