Overview
GST, LLC. is seeking a Scholarship Program Support Specialist who will serve as the on-site team lead for the
F. Hollings Undergraduate Ernest Scholarship Program. This person will support the student scholarship application, administrative review, and selection processes.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract being awarded.
Primary Duties- Works with NOAA Security Office to issue badges for scholars.
- Drafts and prepares correspondence for the Scholarships Program Managers' signature.
- Provides guidance support for junior contractor staff on the team.
- Maintains time and attendance and leave calendar for scholarship support contractors.
- Reviews scholarship support contractor's reports for accuracy.
- Maintains internship and mentor spreadsheets for an estimated 125-150 scholars.
- Assists Program Managers where needed and fills in for Program Managers during vacation times, travel, etc.
- Conducts other education and outreach activities in support of the education and scholarship programs, as needed.
- Submits content for Office of Education social media and web presence.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, education, or a similar field
- 6-8 years of experience

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including location, education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $135,000 per year. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
