We are seeking a highly professional, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clerical Assistant / Drug Testing Technician. This temporary, part-time position offers the potential for permanent hire based on performance and business needs. The role blends essential administrative office duties with critical specimen collection responsibilities, supporting drug and alcohol testing programs for diverse clients including city agencies, county departments, courts, probation offices, and employers.

Clerical Assistant / Drug Testing Technician Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $ 15.00 / hour
- Full Time and Part Time work available
- Weekend work required
- First Shift (Sunday through Saturday)
- Up to 30 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Weekend Rotation:
Saturdays and Sundays, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM will be assigned - Perform comprehensive administrative and clerical tasks, including data entry, record keeping, and general office support, to ensure efficient daily operations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and individuals undergoing testing, maintaining a professional and empathetic demeanor
- Conduct precise specimen collections for drug and alcohol testing, strictly adhering to all established protocols, chain-of-custody procedures, and client requirements
- Manage sensitive and confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion
- Assist with observed collections as required by testing protocols
- Due to the necessity for same-gender observed collections in specific scenarios, female applicants are preferred to facilitate these requirements
Clerical Assistant / Drug Testing Technician
Qualifications:
- Fast-paced office setting
- Business casual attire
- Ability to stand for extended periods, up to an 8-hour shift
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Demonstrated proficiency in data entry
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
