Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Operations Management
Overview
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for all maintenance functions, including oversight of Aircrew Support Equipment, Munitions, PS&D, and MOC personnel, as outlined in the Government contract to the Site Supervisor.
In addition, the Production Supervisor may be assigned as the responsible Manager for required programs such as Joint Oil Analysis, Foreign Object Damage Prevention, Tool Control, and ESD/ESI Programs.
Responsibilities- Direct the activities of the Maintenance Team in all aspects of maintenance.
- Ensure safe and efficient maintenance, managing people and processes to comply with established policies, procedures, and operations to support the AFGSC Program.
- Perform direct management of workers, including assignment of program workloads, supervision of entire shifts, and communication of status to the Site Supervisor.
- Maintain compliance with quality control policies, inspections, and NAMP requirements.
- Act as the Site Supervisor when required and assist in establishing and maintaining written procedures.
- Lead audits, provide corrective actions, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain data and records for reporting, including periodic CDRLs and ad hoc reports.
- Assist in recruitment, selection, training, and disciplinary actions of employees.
- Investigate accidents and injuries, enforce safety programs, and coordinate off‑site repairs.
- Support hazardous waste program compliance and ensure adaptability to changing physical demands.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in Air Force organizational-level aircraft maintenance and material support, with at least four (4) years in a supervisory position responsible for shift workloads.
- Knowledge of Air Force technical directives, basic supply procedures, and Air Force maintenance contracts.
- Formal or specialized training equivalent, including FOD Awareness.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a CAC card.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in communicating orally and in writing.
- Ability to read, speak, write legibly and understand English.
- Eligible for, and willing to accept, required Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements.
High School or higher in General Studies. A higher education degree (AD/BA/BS) in associated fields is desired but not required.
Physical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 50 pounds, possess close, peripheral, depth perception vision, adjust focus, and adapt to a hangar/shop/flight line environment. May be exposed to high noise levels, fumes, airborne particles, and electrical shock hazards. Must tolerate inclement weather in various temperatures and conditions.
