** _What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health_*
* Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.

** _Job Summary _*
* The Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis is the financial business partner for the Lab commercial team. This job is responsible for financial analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and associated ad-hoc requests as necessary.

** _Responsibilities_*
* + Leads financial reporting for both the US for the Lab Business unit, including reviewing the preparation and presentation of management reports and/or corporate reporting requirements, to ensure integrity of information and keep management updated on key information

+ Models deal profitability for potential partnerships and contracts

+ Forecasts financial measures such as expected margin and profitability for the assigned business area

+ Lead monthly close, quarterly forecasting, annual budget, and multi-year SFP processes

+ Serve as an advocate & business partner to the Lab leadership (VP and Directors) and broader team

+ Recommends strategies and input to strategies regarding the financial aspect

** _Qualifications_*
* + 8-12 years of experience, preferred

+ Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred, or equivalent work experience, preferred

* + Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff

+ Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

+ Ensures employees operate within guidelines

+ Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers

+ Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management

+ Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects

+ Gains consensus from various parties involved

** Anticipated salary range:**  $105,100 - $150,100
