Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Commercial Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge base encompassing the various sectors we serve, including healthcare, medical, aviation, hospitality, and K‑12 education. Projects range from healthcare facilities and medical offices to detention centers and high‑rise buildings, requiring a professional capable of handling diverse challenges and opportunities.

Compensation

Salary: $90,000 – $160,000 per year

Responsibilities

Oversee all on‑site construction activities, from initial groundwork to final inspection, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Coordinate and supervise the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other project team members.

Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OHSA 10‑HR guidelines, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges during the construction process.

Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site logs, and safety records.

Guide the self‑perform work teams and ensure the quality of their work.

Qualifications

Built in Wyoming or currently live there.

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Superintendent in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects.

Extensive experience in sectors such as healthcare, aviation, hospitality, and K‑12 education. Experience in detention center construction is an added advantage.

Strong knowledge of concrete work and other construction methods and materials.

Proficiency in managing field operations and self‑perform work teams.

A solid understanding of OHSA 10‑HR safety guidelines and a commitment to promoting a culture of safety on the job site.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders.

A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
