Project Manager (Electrical - Mission Critical / Industrial)
Gavin Heath is partnering with a client seeking to add Project Management professionals at all levels, from Assistant Project Manager through Senior Project Manager and Project Executive, for mission-critical construction projects. Our client is hiring onsite PM's across Denver, CO and Cheyenne, WY. Responsibilities include managing all electrical scopes, including MV distribution (12 kV – 35 kV), switch gear integration, and commissioning (EFO, TFO, FAT, SAT).
Full-cycle execution of a 20 MW + greenfield hyperscale campus—from ground break through MV energization and turnover. Day-to-day project controls include maintaining RFI logs and coordinating timely responses, building, pricing, and tracking change orders in Accubid; managing submittal logs and expediting outstanding items, overseeing electrical take-offs and quantity tracking, running project meetings with owners, GCs, and internal teams, onboarding and managing subcontractors, ensuring scope alignment and safety orientation, and driving schedule, cost, and productivity metrics in Procore and Primavera P6.
Supervision of electricians, foremen, and subcontractors; enforcing quality, productivity, and safety. Conducting client-facing progress reviews; serving as the primary point of contact for hyperscale owners. Ensuring compliance with NEC, OSHA 1926, and project-specific QA/QC protocols. Delivering zero-incident safety performance and mentoring field leadership to align with company culture and standards.
Qualifications include 5+ years managing large-scale electrical-contracting scopes for data centers or comparable mission-critical facilities (semiconductor experience considered). Experience depends on level (APM - PE). Demonstrated hands-on ownership of RFIs, schedules, and change orders—including Accubid CO workflows. MV (12 kV – 35 kV) systems experience, including commissioning leadership (EFO/TFO). Proven track record supervising electricians and subs on aggressive project timelines. Proficiency in Procore and Primavera P6 (or equivalent schedule/cost platforms).
Deep understanding of NEC, OSHA 1926, and hyperscale owner requirements. Preferred NFPA 70E-based electrical-safety certifications (CEST, CESCP, CESW, CEI) or willingness to obtain. PMP certification or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering / Construction Management. Spanish fluency (field leadership advantage). Prior delivery for hyperscale clients such as AWS, Microsoft, or Google.
