- General / Collaborative Duties - Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, clients, architects/engineers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating and project controls processes, templates, and tools.
- Support mentoring of junior staff or interns when applicable.
- Uphold company safety culture and promote safe work practices on job sites.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and substantial relevant experience).
- 2--5 years of progressive experience in construction estimating, project engineering, project controls, or a combination of both (exact experience level may vary by seniority of the role).
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Demonstrated experience performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed construction cost estimates.
- Working knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and typical trade work (earthwork, concrete, structural, MEP, finishes, etc., depending on market sector).
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Plan Swift, Heavy Bid,…
