Executive Counselor

Amex GBT’s Executive Travel Consultant role delivers an exceptional travel experience for Corporate Travel customers.

• Act as the point of sale on all domestic and international travel reservations, arranging routine and complex air, rail, ground, and hotel accommodation using native Sabre.
• Provide consultative advice, solutions and recommendations for VIP travelers while ensuring adherence to policy and requirements.
• Operate in a multi‑channel environment while being accountable to key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, productivity metrics and partnership development.
• Use positive telephone and email service techniques; act on special customer requests and maintain excellent client relations.
• Proactively sell additional services such as hotel and car to travelers.
• Express enthusiasm and energy within the organization and act according to Amex GBT Ethics, Values and Compliance guidelines.
• Act in accordance with all Amex GBT policies and procedures.

• In‑depth knowledge of domestic and international air, hotel, car and rail booking practice and policies.
• High touch Executive customer service experience.
• 5+ years experience as a Corporate Travel Consultant.
• Native Sabre proficiency preferred but not required.
• Detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules for domestic and international travel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for Excellence in Customer Service with attention to detail.
• Ability to act with integrity when handling personal and confidential information.
• Basic computer navigation skills with ability to multitask in multiple applications.

Location:

United States. Shift: Monday‑Friday 5:00am‑6:00pm Pacific Standard Time (shifts may vary based on client hours).

US national base salary range: $39,200.00 – $72,800.00.
