Event Staff
- Ticket Scanner/Usher Details:
- Temporary position
- $ 18.00 / hour
- Part Time work available
- Weekend work required
- Various shifts available (Saturday through Sunday)
- University of Wyoming start times:
- 9/18 UW vs UNIC at 10:30 AM
- 9/26 UW vs UH at 9:30 AM
- 10/17 UW vs NIU at 9:30 AM
- 10/23 UW vs AF at 3:30 PM
- 11/20 UW vs UNM at 3:30 PM
- 11/28 UW vs UConn - TBD
- Northern Colorado games available too!
Efficiently scan event tickets using provided technology at entry points
Conduct thorough and professional bag checks according to venue security protocols
Warmly greet guests, provide clear directions, and assist with seating as an usher
Answer general event questions and offer helpful assistance to enhance the guest experience
Maintain a visible, professional, and friendly presence throughout the event
Report any issues or concerns to supervisory staff promptly
Event Staff
- Ticket Scanner/Usher
Qualifications:
- Punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts
- Previous experience in customer service, event support, or security roles (e.g., Customer Service Representative, Security Guard) preferred
- Must be able to stand for the duration of the 8-hour shift or until done
- Ability to walk, bend, and navigate event venues
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as scanning tickets and conducting bag checks
- Indoor/outdoor - all weather conditions

- Bottoms:
Black pants (non-denim, non-athletic, professional appearance) - Footwear:
Black closed-toe shoes (comfortable for standing for extended periods) - Top:
White collared shirt - Provided (if needed):
If you do not have a white collared shirt, a professional polo shirt or jacket will be provided on-site for the duration of the event, with the type depending on weather conditions
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
