Montessori School of Cheyenne

Full time position assisting multiple classrooms on a 4 day rotation with one day off per week, 8:30 a.m.

- 5:30 p.m. Assistant will follow Lead Teacher's classroom expectations and the Montessori Philosophy in all activities. Primary Responsibilities are as follows:

Maintain the prepared environment

Promote independence, self-learning and responsibility

Be prepared to step into the role of the lead teacher in their absence

Develop afternoon projects and assist students in completing them.

Build relationships with families

Participate in community events

Create a school to be proud of

Qualifications:

Minimum:

18 years of age

High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

Some Montessori experience or training

Experience working with children in a school setting

Salary Range: $10.50 - $15 hourly depending on experience
