SALARY: $52,200 starting base salary; full benefits

CONTRACT:

Full Time, 185-day contract, with Full Benefits -  School Year

Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a Wyoming teaching certificate with an appropriate special education endorsement and must be highly qualified as a special education teacher. Other designed qualifications include:

• Ability to work well with students with multiple ability levels
• Ability to make modifications and/or accommodations for students in the regular classroom
• Ability to work well with other teachers, staff, and parents
• Strong knowledge of special education rules and regulations
• Ability to supervise paraprofessionals
• Flexible
• Organized
• Able to take initiative
• Computer skills
• Willingness to participate in planning meetings and district trainings
• Willingness to grow professionally

This position will provide quality instructional services to meet the needs of students with a variety of learning disabilities; will utilize a variety of instructional techniques and technologies; supervise paraprofessionals; meet with general ed teachers to ensure that IEP-requirements are being met and to obtain information about student performance; meet all legal requirements; submit all required.
