PODER Secondary is a small‑school environment where teachers track individual students and tailor instruction accordingly. There is a heavy focus on classroom management where behavior disruptions are minimized. Seeking creative minds who enjoy teaching science.

• BA or BS degree
• Able to pass a background check
• Experience working with 7th and 8th grade and/or diverse students is a plus (not required)
• Multiple certifications/endorsements is a plus (not required)
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus (not required)

• Develop lesson plans and deliver instruction
• Provide small group and individual instruction
• Provide weekly lesson plans to the Principal
• Collaborate with team members to develop innovative instruction techniques
