Elementary Title I Family Engagement Program Coordinator
Reports to:
District Supervisor of Federal Programs.
Description:
Develop/implement activities to involve parents of students participating in Title I services in information sessions resulting in home-school partnerships. Teachers will be responsible for leading workshops related to building foundational English Language Arts and Math skills. Additional duties will include meetings of the Title I Parent Advisory Committee.
Duties:
Organizing and planning for parent workshops throughout the year; submitting orders for necessary supplies; planning meetings with facilitators; coordinating distribution of flyers; attending and overseeing family evenings; contacting potential Parent Advisory Committee members; record keeping of Parent Advisory Committee meetings; collecting time sheets and activity logs from facilitators.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be certified teachers with experience working with struggling students. Remuneration:
Salary will be in accordance with the current KEA Salary Guide. This program is funded by Title IA funds. Duties must be performed outside of regular school duties/hours. Job Code: 3860
