Overview
The Wyoming Game and Fish Department seeks a Conservation Education Coordinator based in Cheyenne, WY, with consideration for other statewide locations. This role develops, coordinates, and implements statewide conservation education initiatives that foster public understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of Wyoming’s fish, wildlife, and habitats. It provides strategic leadership for conservation education programming that serves diverse audiences, including youth, families, educators, and the general public.
Responsibilities- Lead statewide conservation education planning and evaluation through a program request and tracking system.
- Develop engaging educational resources and digital content.
- Manage Wyoming’s Project WILD program.
- Serve as a resource for agency personnel, educators, and partners on public outreach and education.
- Coordinate and lead summer camp programs for youth, families, and college students.
