ABOUT CLIMB WYOMING

Climb Wyoming’s mission is to help low-income single mothers discover self-sufficiency through career training and placement. To date, the program has helped thousands of families overcome poverty, the effects of which will be felt for generations to come. The basis of the Climb model is a job training and placement program, but there is more to permanent life change than getting a job.

Essential elements of the Climb model also include skills that ensure participants maintain successful relationships on the job and far into the future.

• Someone who has an innate curiosity and an eagerness to learn
• An initiator who can use negotiation skills and creative problem-solving to secure a sustainable local job for each of our participants

• Someone who would enjoy developing the job readiness skills of our participants
• Able to listen without judgment
• A strong collaborator and manager who is able to work with industry experts to build and implement industry trainings
• A colleague who works efficiently with teams

• Committed to learning and ongoing personal development

• Bachelor’s degree or 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Some exposure to a low-income population is a plus

• This position will report to the Cheyenne Program Director
• This is a full-time 40-hour per-week position with a salary range starting at 60,000 + benefits
• The position will close on October 4th
