Job Description

The position is based in Cheyenne, WY, and involves installing and troubleshooting customer systems that utilize Direct Digital Control Technology. The role includes ensuring that systems operate properly within controls, sensors, and software, and verifying field devices using a laptop.

Responsibilities

+ Serve as the local contact for technical issues.

+ Ensure systems operate properly within controls, sensors, and software.

+ Verify field devices utilizing a laptop.

+ Travel to client sites to provide services.

+ Work with engineers on the startup and commissioning of customer systems in the electronic, electrical, and pneumatic space.

+ Follow drawing packages and update as needed.

+ Set up workstations with all necessary software.

+ Communicate with project manager on project updates and timelines.

+ Troubleshoot any issues during startup and maintenance.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting tasks.

+ Experience in commissioning and validation of equipment.

+ Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or electrical equipment.

+ 2+ years of experience in data center installation, field service, or service validation.

+ Proficiency in using a multimeter and knowledge of TCP/IP.

+ Familiarity with building automation is preferred.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in building automation is an advantage.

+ Ability to work with engineers and follow technical drawings.

Work Environment

The worksite is located in Cheyenne, Wyoming, with working hours from 8 AM to 4 PM. The team comprises 1 project manager and 4 technicians, with a total of 30 people. Once you transition to direct employment, you will receive a company truck and cellphone. This position offers the opportunity to work under a parent company with a large global presence.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cheyenne, WY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $46.00/hr.
