About the RoleCrusoe is building large-scale, mission-critical AI data center campuses across the U.S., delivering the infrastructure that powers the next generation of AI and high-performance computing. As we expand into larger, multi-phase campuses, we are seeking a Senior Construction Manager focused on Site, Utilities, and Outside Plant (OSP) to lead critical early-stage and campus-wide infrastructure execution.
This role is responsible for campus-level site coordination, including utilities, duct banks, medium-voltage infrastructure, and OSP scope (ISP excluded). You will work closely with general contractors, civil and utility trade partners, designers, and internal engineering teams to ensure site infrastructure is delivered safely, on schedule, and ready to support vertical construction and long-term operations.
This is a highly visible, execution-heavy role suited for seasoned construction leaders with strong site, civil, and utilities experience — including those coming from a GC background.
What You’ll Be Working OnLead campus-level site and utilities construction, including civil works, duct banks, underground utilities, and MV infrastructure
Own OSP coordination across the campus (ISP scope explicitly excluded from this role)
Coordinate site readiness to support structural and vertical construction phases
Manage multiple contractors and utility partners across overlapping scopes
Drive field execution, resolve constructability issues, and enforce safety and quality standards
Own schedules, sequencing, and critical-path planning related to site and utility delivery
Coordinate closely with design, engineering, power, and commissioning teams
Oversee permitting, inspections, and jurisdictional coordination related to site and utilities
Provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and schedule impacts to leadership
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience delivering large-scale industrial, infrastructure, or data center projects
Strong experience in site, civil, utilities, and OSP scopes
General Contractor (GC) background is acceptable and valued
Solid understanding of underground utilities, duct banks, and MV coordination
Strong scheduling and project controls experience (Procore, Primavera/MS Project, Bluebeam)
Hands‑on leadership style with strong cross‑functional communication skills
Willingness to be site-based with travel up to ~30%
Data center or mission-critical campus experience
Led large, multi-phase site or infrastructure programs
Deep familiarity with power delivery coordination
Experience working with utilities and AHJs
Lean construction or sustainability experience
Professional certifications (PMP, CCM, PE)
