MH-139 Operations Technicians Cheyenne, WY
Support the MH-139 helicopter program by performing maintenance, modifications, and inspections across mechanical, structural, avionics, and weapons systems-ensuring flight readiness and compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Responsibilities:
- Multiple roles available:
Mechanic, Avionics, Structures, and Weapons Technicians. - Assemble, disassemble, and modify aircraft systems/components to correct faults or incorporate upgrades.
- Troubleshoot complex hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems; repair faulty components.
- Perform validation/verification testing and bench testing of systems and components.
- Configure aerospace vehicles and test equipment.
- Conduct detailed inspections to verify flight worthiness and compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
- Accurately document all maintenance, repair, inspection, and testing activities.
- Support and oversee component overhaul as needed.
- Work under general supervision with autonomy in daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (or active within past 24 months).
- Minimum 3 years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
- Proficiency with aircraft-specific tools: torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes, shears, test equipment, etc.
- Willingness to work variable/multiple shifts as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with MH-139 or similar rotorcraft maintenance/modification.
- Current or previous Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License.
- General mechanical/maintenance background across multiple aircraft systems.
