Help

Make thorough study of contracts, plans, and specifications. Recommend changes which would facilitate or improve the facilities, together with justification for the recommendations, and initiates contract modification as required.

Review and analyze proposals submitted by contractors for field changes to contract plans and specifications and prepares draft of findings of fact on which modifications may be based.

Maintain close contact with contractor's representatives in order to plan quality assurance activity requirements of the contractors operations.

Visit work sites, including high-voltage areas, to verify that work is being carried out according to specifications. Ensure compliance with contract provisions and statutory requirements.

Expedite the preparation of factual data for submission of as-built drawings.

Review plans and specifications and plan-in-hand reviews prior to bid openings for omissions, discrepancies, etc., and prepare recommendations for necessary revisions.
