Overview
The Natural Resources Program Principal manages water development planning projects, reconnaissance studies, and feasibility studies for the Wyoming Water Development Office in Cheyenne. The role involves overseeing project budgets and timelines, preparing funding recommendations and contracts, providing GIS technical assistance, and representing the program at regional and state meetings.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in sciences or natural resources field
- 1-2 years of progressive work experience in natural resources analysis
- Knowledge of GIS mapping technology and ESRI software products
- Knowledge of water resources, hydrology, and hydrogeologic processes
- Project management experience and ability to manage consultants
- Knowledge of Wyoming Water Law and federal/state environmental regulations
