This is a mid-level engineering position in the Air Quality Division's Planning Section that reviews environmental impact statements and air quality documents, performs environmental engineering reviews, and coordinates with state and federal agencies. The incumbent serves as a member of the IMPACT data management system team and participates in cross-functional projects within the division. Work is performed under moderate supervision and includes preparing technical comments, developing reports, and providing customer support for air quality regulatory data.
Key qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 0-3 years of progressive work experience in Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) License or Fundamentals in Engineering (FE) Required
- Knowledge of Federal and State environmental and NEPA laws, rules, and regulations
- Ability to critically assess written documents and technical work products
- Valid driver's license
