The Air Force Civilian Service is looking for your talents and skills to work alongside our uniformed Airmen in the United States Air Force.
The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Budget Analyst-NH-0560-02 to work for 90th SFG on F.E Warren AFB, Cheyenne, WY.
You will serve as the Group Resource Advisor and senior budget analyst for 90th SFG, responsible for budget formulation, execution, and administration across six assigned organizations and programs. Advises the Group commander and program managers on funds availability, budgetary policy, and financial management processes.
SALARY RANGE: $34,799-$82,938, pay does not include locality pay

Required to handle and safeguard sensitive and/or classified information in accordance with regulations to reduce potential compromise.
May be required to travel by military or commercial aircraft in the performance of TDY assignments.
May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
Position is designated non critical-sensitive and requires a SECRET security clearance to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Employee must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions.
This is a Financial Management Level 1 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d. Incumbent shall comply with the requirements of this certification program.
DutiesPerforms budget formulation work involving preparation of detailed analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for six assigned organizations and programs into a consolidated budget request. Develops and assembles and/or develops background data, information, and documentation to support required program budgets for reference and evidence in agency budget hearings and/or before Office Management and Budget (OMB) and/or Congressional committees.
Presents budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding, such as direct annual, multi-year, and no-year appropriations; apportionments; allotments; transfer of funds from other agencies; revenue from industrially funded operations; and refunds.
Provides advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information. Develops and provides guidance and recommendations for the adoption of processes and procedures to implement budgetary policies and regulations issued by MAJCOM or headquarters AF. Resolves and interprets ambiguous and conflicting budgetary policies and regulations.
Conducts analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and/or related information. Reviews and assesses the long-term effects of budget guidelines, such as new or revised legislation, Programming Decision Memoranda (PDM), and Program Budget Decision (PBD), on assigned programs.
Uses automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments. Provides oversight and performs quality checks of automated system database information and ensures program managers and upper echelons of leadership are briefed/advised of any significant problems.
