Logistics Management Specialist

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD
1414P03 and is part of the WY 153d Logistics Readiness Squadron, Wyoming Air National Guard.

This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

• Area 1:
  All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ANG employees assigned to the 153 LRS.
• Area 2:
  All permanent and indefinite Wyoming Air National Guard (ANG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming Air National Guard.
• Area 4:
  All current military members of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
• Area 6:
  Current military service members to include the US Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard units. Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Air National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

Work involves performing or supervising staff work in planning and coordinating logistical support activities to provide the money, manpower, material, facilities, and services needed to support a specified mission at the time and place they are needed.

Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field. Experience using computer and automation systems.

Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Equivalent is defined as experience, education, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operations. Experience integrating the actions of a variety of specialized support activities to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automated data processing to meet the logistics plan.

Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions.

NOTE:

Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position. Applicants must provide from MM/YYYY - MM/YYYY (e.g., 02/2015 - 03/2017 or Feb 2017 - Mar - 2017) dates and hours worked per week with description of your specialized experience on the resume.

Selected candidates will be required to be in a compatible military grade and assignment prior to the effective date of placement.

Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC R21R3, Logistics Readiness (Qualified) Prefix R identifies positions on manpower documents and officers serving in or qualified to serve in positions requiring functional area expertise, and experience and training in contingency or war planning functions.

Officers must satisfy one of the following criteria for award of this prefix:

• 1. Successful completion of one or more of the following courses and have 6 months of experience in a prefix R position:
  • 1.1. MCADRE
    002 - Contingency/Wartime Planning Course, PDS Code 82U;
  • 1.2. MCADRE
    003 - Joint Air Operations Planning Course, PDS Code W1B;
  • 1.3. E6
    
    AZU
    - Worldwide Military Command and Control System Intercomputer Network (H6000-CDT), PDS Code 11J;
  • 1.4. 4925 - Joint Operation Planning and Execution System User Course (Basic) - PDS Code W5J;
  • 1.5. J5
    
    OZO
    - Joint Medical Planners Course (JMPC) - PDS Code XH6;
  • 1.6. AMC TPC Tanker Planning Course - PDS Code TPI;
  • 1.7. Deliberate and Crisis Action Planning and Execution Segments End User Course (Basic).
• OR 2. 12 months of experience in a prefix R position.
