Supply Management Specialist

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number PDD
0878P01 and is part of the WY Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics, Wyoming Army National Guard. This is a Title 32 Dual Status Technician Excepted Service position. Military affiliation is required.

Primary consideration will be made from Areas 1, 2 and 4. If referrals are not made from the target category, subsequent referrals may next be made from Area 6 (if eligible).

• Area 1:
  All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) WY ARNG employees assigned to the Deputy Chief of Staff Logistics.
• Area 2:
  All permanent and indefinite Wyoming National Guard (NG) T32 Dual Status technicians employed within the Wyoming National Guard.
• Area 4:
  All current Drill Status Airmen and M-day soldiers of the Wyoming National Guard.
• Area 6:
  Current military members of the United States military branches or prior service members of one of those military branches.

Must be willing/eligible to join the Wyoming Army National Guard as a military member prior to appointment to position.

Work involves management, direction or administration of a supply program that includes a mixture of technical supply functions or staff managerial or administrative work primarily concerned with analyzing, developing, evaluating, or promoting improvements in the policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems, or techniques of a supply program.

Must possess experience, education, or training which provided general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field; experience using computer and automation systems.

Must possess experience, education, or training managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions; knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system; experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues; experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.

Minimum Requirements and Specialized Experience will be used to determine qualifications for the announced position.
