Health Care Specialist

Role Overview

Serve as a first-line responder to injuries and illnesses of civilians after natural disasters and support Soldiers' medical needs. As a Health Care Specialist, you'll provide emergency and ongoing care, manage medical supplies, and train Soldiers in first aid techniques.

• Key Responsibilities:
  
  Administer emergency treatment, assist with outpatient and inpatient care, manage medical readiness, supplies, and equipment, and instruct Soldiers in combat lifesaver and first responder courses.
• Skills & Training:
  Develop patient care techniques, advanced medical procedures, and plaster casting skills. Gain certification from the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT level or higher).
• Qualifications & Traits:
  Caring nature, effective communication, ability to work under stress, strong attention to detail, and interest in science subjects.
