We are seeking dependable, CNA-level experienced caregivers who can confidently support clients throughout Cheyenne and the surrounding areas.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Helpers Caregiver, you will consistently demonstrate behaviors that promote dignity, independence, and trust. On a typical day, you will:

Build meaningful relationships

  • Initiate friendly, engaging conversations that make clients feel heard and valued.
  • Participate in clients’ preferred activities—such as gardening, scrap booking, or playing games—to encourage social engagement.

Support daily living with professionalism

  • Assist clients with walking, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and other personal care tasks while maintaining their comfort and safety.
  • Prepare simple, nutritious meals and support safe eating routines.

Promote safety and independence

  • Observe clients’ mobility, behavior, and physical or cognitive changes and report concerns promptly through our communication app.
  • Follow care plans accurately and adjust your approach to meet each client's daily needs.

Maintain accurate documentation

  • Use the electronic caregiver mobile app to clock in/out, record completed tasks, and update client notes in a timely and detailed manner.

Contribute to a positive team environment

  • Communicate clearly with families, supervisors, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Respond to schedule updates and care plan changes with professionalism and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to demonstrate these behaviors consistently:

Personal Care

  • Provide safe assistance with bathing, mobility, transfers, positioning, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, medication reminders, feeding, and dressing.
  • Assist clients with all care plan ADLs and IADLs
  • Safely transfer and position clients, including repositioning a client in an occupied bed
  • Provide care for hospice clients and clients at end of life
  • Support clients with a variety of diagnoses, including Parkinson’s disease, dementia, stroke, and ALS
  • Observe, document, and report changes in physical or mental condition to supervisors immediately
  • Provide companionship and protective oversight
  • Transport clients safely by vehicle

Companionship & Household Support

  • Engage clients in conversation and recreation.
  • Prepare light meals, perform light housekeeping, manage laundry, assist with shopping and errands, and provide incidental transportation.
  • Help clients maintain an organized and comfortable home environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of professional CNA-level caregiving experience.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Legal identification and authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality for scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to use a smartphone for electronic scheduling, communication, and documentation.
  • Must be available for at least 30 to 40 hours a week to take on client shifts
