Job Details:

• Work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• No weekend or holiday requirements

• No on-call or standby requirements

• Perform radiation therapy treatments including breast, lung, prostate, head and neck, and esophageal cases

• Perform stereotactic procedures including SBRT and SRS (brain and body)

• No pediatric patients

• Average of 25-30 scans/studies per day

• Operate Varian Vital Beam and True Beam treatment machines

• Experience with True Beam and Vital Beam machines required

• Mosaic/Mosaiq charting system experience highly recommended

• Charting system: EPIC and Mosaiq

• Travelers will not perform simulation procedures

• One week of department-specific orientation provided before working independently

• Radiation MD is in-house

• Nurses are responsible for starting IVs

• Any color scrubs permitted (department staff typically wear black scrubs and white shirts, though not required)

• Required certifications: BLS

• Degree in Radiation Oncology and Radiation Therapy required

• Wyoming State License and national license required

• ARRT and applicable specialty certification required

• Permanent address must be at least 25 miles from the facility location

• Cancellation policy: 2 cancellations per 13-week assignment

Facility:

This acute care facility operates at a Trauma Level 2 designation and houses a radiation oncology department with two treatment vaults equipped with Varian Vital Beam and True Beam technology. The department maintains a small, close-knit environment with strong patient satisfaction scores and has a Radiation MD in-house to support the care team. The department focuses on delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatments across a variety of oncology specialties.
