We are seeking a highly organized and adaptable HR Generalist / Workforce Operations Coordinator to support our growing workforce and operational needs. This role combines Human Resources, payroll coordination, recruiting, compliance administration, safety support, and workforce operations within a dynamic industrial environment.

Position SummaryThe HR Generalist / Workforce Operations Coordinator serves as a key operational support role for both office and field personnel. This position is responsible for managing employee administration, onboarding, payroll coordination, recruiting, contractor compliance systems, safety documentation, and workforce support processes.
This role works closely with leadership, employees, subcontractors, customers, and external agencies to ensure compliance, organization, and smooth day-to-day operations across multiple departments.
QualificationsPreferred Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, payroll, workforce administration, or office operations
- Hands-on experience with payroll processing, benefit administration, employee deductions, and related employee support functions
- Experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, or field-service environments preferred
- Experience with contractor compliance and risk management platforms such as ISNetworld (ISN), Avetta, Veriforce, or similar systems
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA compliance processes and workforce documentation
- Experience coordinating employee drug testing programs including DOT-regulated testing
- OSHA 10, OSHA 30, OSHA 510, or related safety certifications are a plus

- Manage day-to-day HR administration for office and field employees
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes
- Prepare offer letters, employment documentation, policy acknowledgements, and employee correspondence
- Maintain employee files and HR records with a high level of confidentiality
- Support employee relations, workplace communication, and documentation processes
- Coordinate background checks, drug testing, MVR checks, and onboarding requirements
- Track employee training assignments and compliance requirements
- Serve as a resource for employee questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate weekly payroll processing and timekeeping review
- Manage payroll deductions, garnishments, benefit changes, and overtime tracking
- Assist with W-2 corrections, payroll reporting, and audits
- Coordinate employee benefit enrollments and eligibility tracking
- Serve as a liaison between employees and benefit providers
- Coordinate certified payroll reporting and prevailing wage documentation
- Support project-related compliance and subcontractor documentation requests
- Create and manage job postings for office and field positions
- Coordinate interviews, candidate communication, and hiring workflows
- Support workforce planning and staffing coordination
- Maintain recruiting documentation and onboarding schedules
- Track employee certifications, licenses, and training expirations
- Maintain safety records and OSHA-related documentation
- Coordinate contractor compliance platforms including ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce, and related systems
- Upload and maintain insurance certificates, OSHA logs, EMR documentation, and training records
- Support DOT/FMCSA compliance processes and CDL onboarding requirements
- Assist with workers’ compensation reporting and claim administration
- Improve and maintain administrative procedures and workflows
- Assist leadership with reporting, documentation, and operational support
- Support audits, inspections, and customer compliance requests
- Help maintain organized and efficient office operations in a fast-paced environment
