Data Center Technician (Level 1 & Level
2)
Location:
Cheyenne, WY
Seeking Data Center Technicians with both inside plant (ISP) and outside plant (OSP) experience. The role includes 60% data center work and 40% fiber/OSP work supporting enterprise infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Install and maintain data center hardware (servers, racks, network gear, PDUs)
- Perform structured cabling (fiber & copper: install, terminate, test)
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues to minimize downtime
- Support cooling, power, and environmental systems
- Install and maintain outside plant infrastructure (fiber routes, conduits, cabling)
- Coordinate with vendors and teams; document installations
- Strong cabling expertise (fiber & copper)
- Proven troubleshooting ability (ISP & OSP environments)
- Experience with project coordination and cross-functional teams
- Windows 10 experience
- Data center hardware installation experience
This is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
