Systems Helpdesk Technician

Provide customer support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining a high level of service. Assist with the maintenance of LAN workstations, physical network connections, and routine administrative tasks related to the telephone system. Support reliable access for end users through remote applications and collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high‑quality service across the organization. Serve in a backup capacity for other team members as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to end users and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain LAN workstations and physical network connections.
  • Perform routine maintenance and administrative tasks related to the telephone system.
  • Support remote applications and ensure reliable access for end users.
  • Collaborate closely with other IT team members to support shared initiatives.
  • Act as backup support for other team members to maintain continuity within the IT environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software.
  • Solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and technical products used for diagnostics and repairs.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge and appreciation of computer networking and security principles.
  • Experience in system administration, information technology, or related fields is preferred.
  • Currently pursuing or engaged in continuing education in Information Technology is strongly encouraged.
  • Certifications or specialized expertise in Windows, computer hardware, or help‑desk related work are preferred.
