Overview
The Telecommunications Infrastructure Supervisor oversees Wyoming's unified circuit architecture, telephone system, and telephony equipment purchasing for the state. This permanent full-time role manages the complete circuit lifecycle, VoIP systems supporting 9,000 users, telecom procurement, and leads technical teams across the state. The position reports to the Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services in Cheyenne.
Responsibilities- Manage the complete circuit lifecycle and VoIP systems supporting 9,000 users.
- Oversee telecom procurement and telephony equipment purchasing.
- Lead technical teams across the state.
- Coordinate with the Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services in Cheyenne to align objectives and policy.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology.
- 1-3 years progressive work experience in computer technology or 4-7 years with relevant substitution.
- Experience with telecom equipment management and circuit inventory oversight.
- Strong security skills and knowledge of IT security implementation.
- Project management and team leadership abilities.
- Experience with VoIP systems, network architecture, and vendor management.
