Overview

The Wyoming Department of Enterprise Technology Services seeks a Senior Business Relationship Manager to serve as a strategic liaison between the department and state agencies. The role focuses on building trusted partnerships with agency leaders, translating business needs into IT solutions, and advancing the state's enterprise technology strategy. The position oversees IT project portfolios, application modernization, and cross-agency collaboration to ensure technology investments are scalable, sustainable, and aligned with government needs.

• Act as a strategic liaison between the department and state agencies to understand business needs and translate them into IT solutions.
• Advance the state's enterprise technology strategy through cross-agency collaboration and portfolio oversight.
• Oversee IT project portfolios and application modernization initiatives to ensure scalable and sustainable technology investments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Technology or 3-5 years of progressive work experience at Enterprise Technology Management I level.
• Experience building and managing strategic relationships with executive leadership and cabinet-level officials.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks (ITIL, COBIT) and enterprise architecture practices.
• Experience evaluating and managing enterprise application portfolios including Cloud and SaaS solutions.
• Senior-level experience collaborating with leadership on IT budget planning, contract negotiation, and business case development.
