IT Support Technician

Requirements

• Previous IT support experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and backup systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and triage urgent matters effectively.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to travel on-site when needed.
• Flexible availability during normal business hours, with occasional urgent support as required.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues.
• Support printers, scanners, phones, and other office devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet-related problems.
• Assist with user setup, password resets, and workstation configuration.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
• Help safeguard data security and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Install updates and set up new equipment as needed.
• Deliver remote support when possible and on-site support when required.
• Respond promptly to IT issues to keep our providers and staff working efficiently.
