Job Summary
Driver/operator of company vehicles providing courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to Fed Ex service features and performs related customer service functions.
ScheduleExternal:
Mon 7:30‑17:00 Tue‑Fri 8:30‑17:00.
High school diploma/GED. Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
- Neat appearance mandatory due to customer contact.
- Must meet qualifications as outlined in section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier safety regulations.
- Must undergo mandatory medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations.
- Must work in a state of alertness and maintain safety at all times.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials and mandatory inquiries.
Self‑motivated, self‑directed, and able to work independently.
PayHourly rate: $21.05 – $31.26.
