You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitate the packaging and shipment to local hospitals and patients. * Recognition and perks## As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to:
* Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy.
* Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle.
* Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
* Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees.
* Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.
* High School diploma or GED required
* Valid in-state driver's license
* Six months of customer service experience required
* Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
* Able to lift 40lbs
