Top Flight Maintenance is hiring a Snow Maintenance Technician to support winter operations and help keep client properties safe and accessible during snow and ice events. This seasonal, non-driving role focuses on hands‑on snow and ice maintenance such as shoveling, walkways, and applying ice melt.
Key Responsibilities- Snow & Ice Maintenance:
Shovel snow, maintain walkways and assigned areas, and apply ice melt as directed. - Property Safety:
Help maintain safe, accessible client properties during winter weather by paying close attention to snow and ice conditions. - Team & Route Support:
Follow team lead direction, work within assigned routes or sites, and communicate completion or site concerns. - Safe Work Practices:
Use assigned tools and materials safely and follow winter work procedures. - Weather-Driven Availability:
Be available for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays when snow events require service.
- Ability to work early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed during snow events.
- Reliable transportation to and from the assigned reporting location or job site.
- Physical ability to shovel snow, lift and carry materials, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in snow, ice, cold temperatures, and other difficult winter conditions.
- Prior snow maintenance experience, including shoveling or de-icing applications, is a plus but not required.
- Team-oriented, dependable, and attentive to detail.
- This is a non-driving snow role; operation of company plow trucks is not part of the position.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Assigned walkways and areas are maintained thoroughly and treated for ice as directed.
- The employee reports as scheduled and on time when snow events occur.
- Work is completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.
- The employee communicates clearly with the team lead and supports the crew throughout the event.
- Client properties are left safe and accessible within the employee's assigned scope.
