Job Summary

The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial, operational, and administrative performance of electrical construction projects from initiation through closeout. This role ensures projects are strategically planned, organized, and executed safely, on time, and within budget. Key responsibilities include managing permits, schedules, buyouts, submittals, shop drawings, budgets, and billing, as well as tracking subcontractor performance and material procurement. The Electrical Project Manager also leads project closeout activities, including preparation of O&M manuals, warranty documents, and ensuring all required spare parts are received.

Additional duties may be assigned to support overall business operations and project success.

Essential

Job Responsibilities
  • Increase the company’s efficiency and effectiveness by maintaining financial organization and tracking of electrical projects
  • Prepare permits, project schedule, PO buyouts, project strategy, submittals, shop drawings, budget and schedule of values for project start up
  • Maintain daily affairs to stay within budget, address change orders, and prepare billing
  • Maintain project organization and tracking to include subcontractor performance, material tracking, and coordination of submittals by other trades
  • Execute project close out including preparation of O & M manuals, warranty documents, and receiving all spare parts

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Required:
  • 3+ years of experience in full‑lifecycle recruitment, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Proven success recruiting high‑volume craft and technical talent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience successfully delivering results in an ambiguous, fast‑paced environment.
Preferred:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ project controls/coordination experience
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of the electrical industry
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Work Environment
  • Occasional indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
  • Mostly in outdoor industrial construction sites with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, or other environmental factors.
  • Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels.
  • Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
  • Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1‑50lbs.
  • Potential or periodic amounts of time for the following: walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day; standing; sit, stop, crawl, and kneel; use of respirator if position requires.
