Top Flight Maintenance is hiring a Commercial Business Service Manager to lead our Commercial Property division — Janitorial, Building Maintenance, Landscape, and Snow — as a hands-on business unit leader with full P&L accountability.

This seat functions as a mini-General Manager for Commercial clients: owning account health, growth, estimating, and the performance of the Indoor and Outdoor Operations Managers who report into it. It is a high-ownership role for someone who wants to run a real business inside a growing company, not just manage a department.

• 5+ years leading multi-site service operations — commercial janitorial, facility maintenance, landscape, or snow removal strongly preferred.
• Proven experience managing managers/supervisors, not just individual contributors.
• Direct P&L or budget ownership experience.
• Strong estimating/proposal background, ideally in a service-contract environment.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving, still-forming leadership structure — this seat is new and will be shaped in part by whoever fills it.
• Valid driver’s license; regular travel across Northern Colorado and Wyoming client sites required.
• Experience with EOS/Traction and platforms like Aspire is a plus, not a requirement.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management:
  Lead and hold accountable the Indoor Operations Manager, Outdoor Operations Manager, and Repair Shop Lead — coaching performance without getting pulled into day-to-day tactical work, and resolving cross-department resource conflicts directly.
• Account Health & Client Relationships:
  Own the health of every Commercial account through a structured, tiered visit cadence based on account size and value — proactively catching and resolving issues before they become complaints.
• Growth & Business Development:
  Proactively identify and pursue expansion and cross-sell opportunities within the existing Commercial book — additional service lines, added sites, and scope increases — with net-new business handed off cleanly to.
• Renewals & Estimating:
  Own contract renewals starting 60 days out and all estimating/proposal work for the Commercial book in Aspire, with full accuracy on labor and materials and a 72-hour turnaround standard.
• Safety & Compliance:
  Ensure safety and client-specific compliance standards are met across Indoor and Outdoor sites, coordinating with People & Internal Systems on protocol and documentation.
• Budget & P&L:
  Own the Commercial Business Unit's budget and profitability, communicating resource needs proactively to the Integrator.

• Every direct report runs their department with minimal tactical involvement from this seat.
• Commercial accounts are visited on a predictable, tiered cadence — no client is caught off guard by an unresolved issue.
• No contract renewal is missed or handled reactively; proposals turn around within 72 hours.
• Expansion revenue within existing accounts is actively growing, tracked and visible at the leadership level.
• The Commercial Business Unit hits its budget and profitability targets.
